Standing Stone Books, founded by Robert Colley and Adam Rozum in 2011, is the publishing imprint of Standing Stone Studios, an organization dedicated to the promotion of the literary and visual arts.
Standing Stone Books seeks to introduce a selection of talented writers and artists to new and broader audiences, taking advantage of the latest modes of production and distribution, while adhering to time-honored standards of excellence in communication and design.

Robert Colley is the founding editor of Stone Canoe, an award- winning journal of arts, literature and social commentary, and is also a published photographer. He has published articles and taught courses on the topics of literature and philosophy, professional ethics, distance learning, and book publishing. He is retired from a senior administrative position at Syracuse University, and serves on the boards of various community-based arts organizations.
Adam Rozum is the principal of Adam Rozum Design. He was educated and trained in art restoration and design in his native Poland. He served as Senior Art Director at CL&B Advertising, Inc. in Syracuse, New York, from 1989 to 1996. Adam opened the graphic design firm Adam Rozum Design in 1996. In addition, Adam has served for the last eight years as an art director for Stone Canoe, A Journal of Arts, Literature and Social Commentary, a design director for Naomy-International GmbH, and a design director for the US branch of Snoopstar GmbH, also based in Germany. He divides his time between homes and offices in Syracuse, New York, USA, and Chetumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
