Tom Brockelman lives in Syracuse, New York, where he is a professor of philosophy at Le Moyne College. He has written and spoken extensively about psychoanalysis, aesthetics, and continental philosophy. In both his teaching and his scholarship, he is interested in the way that contemporary society and culture have been transformed by the digital revolution. The author of The Frame and Mirror, and Žižek and Heidegger, books about art and about the unconscious, he takes great joy in celebrating the creativity of the human mind. Beyond writing and teaching philosophy, he plays tennis and piano and is married to Rachel May, a New York State Senator.
